Paraplatin + Taxol + Avastin for the treatment of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

Paraplatin + Taxol + Avastin is a chemotherapy and biologic regimen used in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. This treatment involves three drugs: Paraplatin (carboplatin), Taxol (paclitaxel) and Avastin (bevacizumab).

Chemotherapy is often given as a combination of drugs. Combinations usually work better than single drugs because different drugs kill cancer cells in different ways.
